I need to update my rant on my electricity. I did do some digging and I did find out (before this weeks speech) that renewable energy sources have recently been advertised locally; however, it is approximately a 1/2 cent more expensive per kilowatt hour. Figuring kilowatt hours used in a month, and simple math, it will tell anyone the bill will increase approximately 150% using these resources. Even through Katrina and the rising costs of oil, oil and oil products are still cheaper. So, until renewable energy sources can compete with price and/or convenience, like any capitalistic person in a capitalistic society (especially when money is tight), I shall stick to the cheaper and easier.
